Caving - Against All Odds

Imagine you are going on a caving expedition.  Plan your trip!

First we need to ask ourselves questions to help us take responsible risk so we can survive against all the odds!  Here are our questions:

    I actually used to do this when i was in the Boy Scouts over in England. We called it Pot-holing.

    This link is the actual pothole we went down, and at the 2.09 min mark this is the area of the cave that is called the cheese press. we had to take our helmet and battery off and push it through as it was so tight.

    We got ever so wet and cold, but the best thing was, coming out and having a hot chocolate to warm up afterwards.

    Do you think it was really dark down there if we turned of our torches? and do you think the water was cold or warm?
