OE Day
This term the whole school went on buses to Aniseed Valley. At Aniseed Valley we built cairns. We had fun old fashon races like sack races, three legged races, egg on a spoon races and wheel barrow races. At the end of the wheel barrow race there was chaos because heaps of people were dropping the person they were carrying. It was very funny! We also did a bush trail blind folded whilst caring water. It was hard! When we went swimming in the cold fresh green water we had fun. OE day was one of our favourite days at school and in our lives!
Swimming
We have been learning to glide across the water with our flutter board. We also learned how to do a star float on our back and front and we kicked across the pool. All of Room 9 had fun in our school swimming pool.

Room 9's Vege Garden
In our garden we have been planting vegetables. First we pulled the weeds out of the garden. And we picked out some strawberries, potatoes and cucumber. We pulled out some roots and the roots were really hard to pull out. We planted brusslespouts, cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce and marigolds. We are trying to make our garden a nice and clean place to work in! We also want to grow lots of yummy vegetables!
